Venue Hire and Weddings

Blakesley Hall is a unique and inspiring venue for meetings, conferences, away days and functions. An accessible site with dedicated staff, this beautiful Elizabethan house with its tranquil garden is a peaceful haven in an urban location.

Conferences and Corporate Events

There are a variety of event spaces available that can cater for corporate events and more informal away days and functions.

What we Offer

  • The Events Space, located in Blakesley Hall's visitor centre, can seat 60 lecture style or 30 for a meeting/boardroom.
  • The Barn has a maximum capacity of 60 people and is ideal for more informal events.
  • Twilight Talk, Tour and Tea for 10 to 15 people is an atmospheric evening talk and tour, with tea and cake.
  • We can provide guided tours, talks and events tailored to your groups needs.
  • Excellent parking facilities and transport links.

Weddings, Parties and Special Events

Blakesley Hall has all the ingredients that will make your wedding day even more special.  With its beautiful interiors and outdoor spaces it is also the perfect setting for parties, social gatherings and life celebrations.

What we Offer

  • The Great Hall can accommodate 40 guests and is finely furnished in 17th century style. Walk beneath the wisteria-clad porch entrance to the house, through the original oak door and back in time into the Great Hall.
  • The happy couple will sign the register on the long table - a surviving item listed on the 1684 Blakesley inventory.
  • Weddings for up to 60 guests can take place in the 17th century Barn with its original oak beams and flagstone floor. The Barn is also ideal for birthday parties, informal gatherings and life celebrations.
  • The Events Space is ideal for wedding receptions, life celebrations and other special events. It has a maximum capacity of 60 people.
  • The formal lawns, orchard and traditional herb garden offer excellent opportunities for photographs.
  • We offer a range of buffet packages and dining options.
  • Our dedicated team will be happy to tailor packages to meet your requirements. Guided talks and tours of the house can be arranged.
  • Excellent parking facilities and transport links.
