Learn all about the great plague of 1665-1666. See plague victims inside the hall and find out about all the medicines the plague doctor would have used to treat those who were struck down by the bubonic plague.

Special themed trails, quiz and fascinating facts.

Halloween themed craft activities on Tuesday & Thursday, drop in from 11.30am until 3.30pm.

  • Tuesday 24th October – Spooky Spiders & Phantom Lanterns
    Get creative at Blakesley Hall for Halloween half term. Use a variety of craft materials and have a go at making your very own spooky spiders and phantom lanterns to take home ready for Halloween. £1.50 per child.
  • Thursday 26th October - Make your own witches hat for Halloween
    Use craft materials and spooky decorations to make your own unique witches hat. Plus try some pumpkin racing too. Use a witches broom to sweep a small pumpkin to the finish line. Fastest pumpkin wins! £1.50 per child.
