City Archaeologist Dr Mike Hodder returns to deliver another fascinating talk about the history of Birmingham. Join in on this Sunday talk to learn about Birmingham during the Roman Empire.

The Roman army built a fort at Edgbaston and roads linking it to other forts. Archaeological excavations have also revealed Roman farms and fields, and kilns for making pottery, Birmingham’s first industry. Some of the Roman landscape can still be seen today.
