Designed specifically for KS1 and SEN learners, this hands-on exciting session will bring the story of Dippy the Dinosaur to life by exploring the world Dippy came from, his friends, and Prehistoric ecosystems. Using fossils and replicas, students will be able to touch, document and discuss their findings.

Designed for KS2 and above, this interactive session will allow students to take on the role of detective, interrogating fossils and replicas to hunt for and document dinosaur facts and clues about the Prehistoric world. From monsters to myths, Victorian fossil hunters to current scientists, students will be encouraged to discuss how our knowledge of dinosaurs and other Prehistoric animals has changed over time.
KS2 and above. Duration: 45 minutes.
In this fun, practical and cross-curricular workshop, students will have the chance to experience what it is like to be a paleontologist, using tools to excavate bones, fossils and fragments as we uncover our own dinosaur skeleton in our giant sandpit.
