Participate in real scientific research this February half-term at Thinktank!

Here at Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum, we are committed to contributing to and supporting research led by our local universities.

This February half-term, we are welcoming back the Cognitive Development Research Group from the School of Psychology, University of Birmingham. The team run fascinating studies on how young children’s minds develop. Participation guarantees FREE ENTRY into Thinktank for participating child and one accompanying adult!

This February half term, the team are looking to run short studies with children aged between 2.5 and 4.5 years in the museum. This study looks at children’s problem solving and social learning strategies, and lasts just 20-30 minutes!

Research will be running from Monday 20 July to Friday 24 Feb

Please email the team to book in for a study slot, providing your child’s date of birth and day you’d like to come.

Entry to the Museum will be provided free of charge for each child participating and to one accompanying parent. We encourage you to come to visit the museum before completing the research or to stay on afterwards.

For more information/to book on to the study please contact Zanna Clay: CogDevResearch@outlook.com

We look forward to your visit!
