Drink & Dine with Dippy the Dinosaur

The famous Dippy the Diplodocus, from the Natural History Museum, is coming to Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery (find out more about Dippy on Tour). We have exclusive Drink and Dine with Dippy packages available from 26th May – 9th Sept 2018, or Shared Dinner Parties available on 7th and 14th June 2018 (minimum booking of 10 people).

Exclusive Drinks & Dining Packages 

Two exclusive packages are available: Jurassic and Cretaceous. Both packages include private hire with Dippy with a capacity of 50 – 100 people.  Room hire is £1800 inc VAT.

Jurassic: Reception Package

Six per head served on platters and banana leaves

  • Pickled beetroot and sheep’s cheese salad

Shared Dinner Parties

If you are a smaller group (minimum of 10 people) but don’t want to miss out on this incredible opportunity to dine with a dinosaur, join us for one of our shared dinner parties. Network with other tables whilst enjoying this unique dining experience!

All served in the Gas Hall with Dippy as the guest of honour!

Available for tables of 10 at £700 per table (inc VAT).

Dinner Menu

Assiette of sun blush tomato tart, wild mushroom and parmesan risotto cake, Parma ham and olive salad. (Vegetarian alternative available).

Pan seared breast of chicken, Parma ham and sage mousse served with shoestring vegetables, dauphinoise potatoes and red wine reduction.

Mediterranean vegetable and parmesan Wellington served with shoestring vegetables, dauphinoise potatoes and red wine reduction (v).

Chocolate ganache tart, beetroot coulis, vanilla cream and candied orange.

Tea, coffee and handmade truffles.
