Join us in celebrating the arrival of a unique 13th century stone sculpture of the Hindu god Ganesha on loan from the Trustees of the British Museum.

The event will feature a blessing of the sculpture and of a Hindu shrine created by members of Birmingham’s Hindu community dedicated to Ganesha.

Design a Rangoli to take away and learn more about the Hindu faith by exploring other objects in the gallery.

In the Faith in Birmingham Gallery.

This event forms part of the ‘Celebrating Ganesha’ Spotlight Tour , created in partnership with the British Museum.
