Join us for a truly memorable life drawing session with as difference studying drag artist Naz in all her finery. The art of drag continues to evolve, provoke and affect popular culture.

Posing, performing and reacting to the crowd, our queen will be there to inspire your own artwork. From how her gown moves, the hand crafted costume detail to the make-up magic and illusion, study a drag performer live!

As well as being your life model, Naz will break from being stationary at set intervals to perform for you, both in the Gas Hall and Round Room. With 20 years’ experience of drag, naz will pose and react to the exhibition for you, culminating in a bright and beautiful Bollywood lip sync performance. Naz will be a moving piece of art for you to study, with her gown specially commissioned and reacting to key pieces in the art collection.

The fantastic light in the gallery makes for a perfect drawing space. Join other likeminded artists, sketchers and visitors to take part. Paper, pencils and boards are provided with Easels and seats as required. Alternatively bring in your own sketchpad or just enjoy the performance and meet Naz.

No model nudity.

In Gas Hall with performances in the Round Room.

Free.
