This event will take place at the Museum Collection Centre, 25 Dollman Street, Nechells, B7 4RQ.

Take a trip down memory lane and explore behind the scenes in one of the country’s largest museum stores at Birmingham Museums Collections Centre Open Day. See a range of objects from classic cars and motorbikes to toys, shoes and sculpture.

At the event there will also be:

  • A vintage bus service to and from the city centre
  • Family fun activities
  • Meet the experts – explore objects that aren't usually out on display at the Museum Collections Centre, as our curators tell us their favourite objects
  • Stop the rot – delve into the world of conservation and discover how and why we care for collections
  • And Street food!

The event runs from 10am - 4.30pm (last admission 4pm). No booking required, just drop-in.
