Join tour guide, Christine for tours: David Cox - His Life and Work (12pm) and The Challenge of the Portrait (2pm).

12pm - David Cox - His Life and Work

A guided tour of our new David Cox gallery.

2pm - The Challenge of the Portrait

What makes a good portrait? Is it the faithful reproduction of the sitter's detail or a light shone into their soul? We will consider the evolution of the portrait as a universal, challenging genre, including works by Hambling, Sickert and Epstein. Our sitters include Conrad, Einstien and Max Wall.

Tickets are £3 per person per tour or are free to Museum Members.
