For over the last 150 years Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter has been Britain’s main centre of jewellery production. It has been described as ‘A National treasure, a place of unique character, and a particular combination of structures associated with jewellery and metal working that doesn’t seem to exist anywhere else in the world.
Join expert guide Rupert Fisher for a stroll through the district that has made jewellery for the British and foreign Royal Families, for stars of stage and screen such as Cary Grant and Sophia Loren, but which also claimed it made ‘Real Jewellery for the World and His Wife’.
Meet on the corner of Charlotte Street and Newhall Street.
Meet on Newhall street opposite Queen's Arms pub at 2.00pm.
Pre-booking required. Tickets are £7 per person.
