We’re going on a Bug Hunt!

11.30am - 12.10pm

Join our storyteller for a walk through the woodland as we tell a story ‘We’re going on a bug hunt!’ Meet some amazing bugs hiding in our woodland and learn about each one through songs, sounds and smells. Suitable for families with under 7s. 

£1.50 per child. Pre-booking required.

River Dipping

1.30pm, 2pm and 2.30pm

Come for a walk along the River Cole and explore who is living in the river this summer. 

Bring yourselves and your wellies! Everything else will be provided including microscopes so you can get close and personal with the rivers creepy crawlies. This session will last approximately 20 minutes.

£1.50 per child. Pre-booking required.

Nature Backpacks

We have brand new nature backpacks you can hire for just £1.00. 

They are full of things to help you explore the wonderful woodland at Sarehole Mill including bincoulars, magnifying glasses, and bug catchers. Learn how to explore colours and texture in nature too.

Don’t forget our summer busy bee trail and bug craft which will also be on as normal!
