Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plotters

Blakesley Hall

  • Capacity: 30 pupils
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Cost (per pupil): £4.50
Book Session

In this interactive drama, pupils will learn why and how Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plotters planned their attack on the Houses of Parliament.

Build vocabulary and understanding by storyboarding these famous events: see Guy Fawkes wait in the cellar, meet Lord Cecil the chief spy, and find out how the authorities were alerted to the plot.

Afterwards, explore Blakesley Hall to see the type of house the Plotters escaped to and look for potential hiding places.

(This session is available during November only. School visits to Blakesley Hall are available Tuesday - Friday.)
