See Blakesley Hall decorated for Christmas and discover how Tudor people celebrated the festive season.

Pupils will step back in time and meet Mistress Smalbroke as she prepares this wealthy Tudor household for the twelve days of Christmas. She will help pupils learn about festive traditions and superstitions.

Learn about the evergreen kissing bough, hear the Boar’s Head Carol and help drag in the Yule Log. Make a wish for the year ahead as the plum pudding mix is stirred, dance in the Long Gallery and join in lively Tudor Christmas games.

(This session is available during December only. School visits to Blakesley Hall are available Tuesday - Friday.)
