Birmingham Museums Trust manages the city's collection of 1 million objects. Under the leadership of our Co-CEOs Sara Wajid and Zak Mensah, we are embarking on a radical transformation to deliver greater social impact and be a source of creative inspiration for all the people of Birmingham. To achieve this, we need to redesign our business model and we seek an inspiring, creative and strategic leader to bring fresh thinking, maximise revenue growth and build for the future as our new Director of Development.

You will build and execute a fundraising strategy that supports our ambitious goals and major capital projects, fosters an organisational culture of fundraising and relationship building, and identifies new opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and grow an effective fundraising function for a pioneering inclusive organisation. As part of the senior leadership team, you will collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies that maximises annual revenue and build long-term resilience.
