Celebrate Birmingham Heritage Week with a visit to Aston Hall! Explore this magnificent 17th century mansion with an incredible history, and take this exciting opportunity to meet staff from Birmingham Royal Ballet too!

If you’ve never experienced ballet before, and are thinking, Ballet? What’s That? This is the perfect day for you! Birmingham Royal Ballet are breaking the stereotypes and bringing ballet into the communities. Learn that ballet isn’t posh, it’s not just for girls, and theatres aren’t scary places. Ballet is for everyone. Meet staff from Birmingham Royal Ballet and find out about dance, costumes, and how dancers train.

You’ll also be able to explore the Hall. Walk through the stunning interiors and learn about the home that received royalty, was besieged during the English Civil War and even inspired an author. Your safety is our highest priority, so to manage capacity and facilitate social distancing we are operating a timed entrance to the Hall.

Pre-booking is essential. Book tickets online.

This event is not free for members.

Aston Hall is open from 12 noon until 4pm, with the last timed entrance to the Hall at 3pm.

Aston Hall will feel a little different to usual, but we’re sure you’ll enjoy your visit and look forward to welcoming you.
Our gift shop and the Stable Yard Café will be open but seating capacity in the café will be reduced. Staff on site will be wearing PPE or working behind perspex screens, we have enhanced cleaning schedules in place, and we will be asking you to observe social distancing guidelines at all times whilst on site. We are only accepting contactless payments (no cash accepted). Please remember to bring a face covering for use in our indoor spaces.

Birmingham Museums Trust is a registered charity and money raised through events like this help us care for beautiful buildings like Aston Hall.
