This event is sold out.

Join us at this most wonderful time of the year to meet Father Christmas in front of a roaring fire. Each child will receive a small Christmas gift, can send a letter to Father Christmas, and each family will have the opportunity to have their photograph taken with Father Christmas, which we will send via email for you to cherish.

Write a letter to Father Christmas at home and post it in our Aston Hall post box, make sure to decorate your envelope and bring Christmas wishes with you! Please note that we do not have letter-writing facilities on site, but if you want to bring pencils and paper to write together in Lady Holte’s garden before your visit you are very welcome to do so.

Your visit with Father Christmas will last for ten minutes, during which time each child will receive a gift and each family have an opportunity to have their photograph taken. You can even bring the experience home with you, as each child will receive a Christmas activity pack which includes a Christmas card to decorate at home.

Festive treats available in the Stable Yard Café from 10am until 4.30pm to eat in our grounds or takeaway. Lady Holte’s Garden will be open for you to enjoy.

Why not treat yourselves by pre-booking a delicious hot chocolate and gingerbread man token to indulge at £4.00 per person. Please advise us if you have any allergies or dietary requirements: events@birminghammuseums.org.uk

Pre-booking is essential - this event is now sold out.

Dress warmly because the site is chilly at this time of year.

Aston Hall will feel a little different to usual, but we are sure you will enjoy your visit and we look forward to welcoming you. This event will be a lovely opportunity to visit Father Christmas in his office. The gardens and Stable Yard Café will be open but the gift shop and Aston Hall itself will be closed with the exception of Santa’s office located in the Great Hall. Staff on site will be wearing PPE or working behind perspex screens, we have enhanced cleaning schedules in place, and we will be asking you to observe social distancing guidelines at all times whilst on site.

We are only accepting card payments, to limit personal interaction, with contactless preferred.

Please remember to bring a face covering for use in our indoor spaces and please note that you are limited to purchasing 1 meet Father Christmas experience per transaction which admits a maximum of 6 people from the same household/support bubble.
