Calling all adventurers! Join us for this interactive telling of a fairy tale from India about a young prince who uses a magic bed to travel to far away kingdoms.

Help us tell the story of this lesser-known fairy tale about a young Prince and his enchanted bed which takes him wherever he wishes to go. Journey with us through the magnificent rooms of Aston Hall as we meet the fearsome tiger the prince befriends, the wise man who gives him some objects of great power, and the beautiful Princess who shines brighter than the moon. Finish your tour in our stunning Long Gallery to find out whether the Prince manages to complete three impossible tasks to win the hand of the beautiful Princess.

You’ll begin your tour with a themed craft activity. Make your own magic bed or magic bag to take with you and use in the story.
Join us at 11.15am for our Magic Bed themed craft activity to get you in the mood for our magical story time between 11.45am and 12.30pm. Or alternatively join us at 1pm until 2.15pm, or 2.45pm-4pm when the event will be repeated.
