A drop-dead fun time travelling murder mystery trail aimed at families, and those young at heart. Visit the Hall between 11am and 4pm and step into the past!

It's 1817 and James Watt Junior is celebrating his move into Aston Hall, as well as his restoration of this splendid Jacobean manor, by opening the doors of Aston Hall to the public, as well as to some very special guests!

All goes well until disaster strikes – not only has one of the guests worn the same clothes as Watt, but just after he left to deal with some issues at the Soho Foundry, the guest was discovered dead!

Did he slip and break his neck, or was he killed? Who could have done such a devilish deed? What do a rival industrialist, a former French revolutionary, and an American steam-ship owner have to do with Watt? Accident or foul play, can you discover the truth?

Usual admission charges apply. This event is free to Birmingham Museums members .
