We hope you have a great time at your birthday party at Blakesley Hall. We draw your attention to the following terms and conditions:
Conduct and Responsibilities
A member of staff will greet your party, show you to the barn and deliver your food and drink at the appropriate time, they will not be with your party at any other time. Birmingham Museums are not responsible for the supervision of the children in the group. You are responsible for the supervision and conduct of children in your group at all times. It is important that children are never left unattended or allowed to wander around the building alone.
Please ensure there are enough adults to supervise the children. We require a ratio of at least one adult for every six children. Failure to bring sufficient and appropriate adult assistance may result in your admission being refused. In this instance, you will still be liable for the full cost of your party.
Severely disruptive behaviour will lead to the group being asked to leave Blakesley Hall and no refunds will be made on any part of the visit.
You will be liable for any damage caused by the actions of any member within your group.
All guidelines relating to COVID-19 must be followed, an updated list of these government guidelines will be issued to the organiser before your party. As the organiser, you should share these guidelines with other attendees.
Cancellation policy
Payment must be made a minimum of 14 days in advance of your party.
If the number of children falls below ten, you will still be liable for the cost of the minimum number required for a birthday party (ten children).
Any cancellations must be made in writing.
Cancellations of any parties with less than 14 days’ notice will incur 100% of cost of party.
If Birmingham Museums have to cancel your visit due to COVID 19 guidelines, you can rebook or cancel your booking and receive a full refund.
Cloakroom and Lunch
Blakesley Hall accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to the property of visitors and any property left on the premises.
You are required to pre-order lunch for your party 14 days in advance of the party date. It is important that you let us know of any dietary requirements or allergies at this point.
Any changes to your catering requirements must be made a minimum of 7 days in advance of your visit. Cancellations or changes after that time may incur a charge.
You are not permitted to bring your own food and drink on to site (except for a birthday cake.)
Accessibility
Accessibility statements can be found on the Birmingham Museums website for each venue. You should check these carefully and contact us with guests’ requirements.
Other
Any organised entertainment must provide proof of Public Liability Insurance (PLI) to the venue in order for the party to go ahead, and must cover the activities and all children / adults taking part.
We require a minimum of 10 children with no more than one accompanying adult per child, and the maximum number of attendees to be 45 in total.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all adults within the visiting group have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. Please retain this document for your records.
