Treasures of the Museum Audio Guide
The Treasures of the Museum audio guide is a great way to see and hear about some of our favourite objects from Birmingham’s collection. The audio guide features 20 objects including the Pre-Raphaelites and the Staffordshire Hoard.
The audio tour lasts for approximately one hour and is available in seven languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, German and Chinese.
Add a souvenir guidebook to your audio guide experience for just £2.99 extra (usual price £3.99) and take home with you the beautiful guidebook containing 50 objects from the collection.
Be Mindful Audio Guide
The 30 minute audio guide leads you through the museum taking in fantastic works of art, but inviting you to use the art to support a mindful practice.
Designed and narrated by Adam Dacey, the founder of Mindspace, the tour gives you an opportunity to be peaceful and present while learning techniques you can take away and use in your daily life. Stops on the tour include landmark paintings like Monte Civita by Elijah Walton, a very prominent feature in the Round Room, to lesser known works, such as The Mouth of an Estuary by George Lambert, which you may have never noticed before.
“A wonderful experience - give your mind peace looking at some beautiful artwork - beneficial for everyone. Mindspace audio tour - brilliant!” Museum visitor.
“10/10 the most wonderful blend of sight, together with sound to create a positive, peaceful experience. How to completely let go of all stress and anxiety within a matter of minutes. Definitely worth a visit!” Museum visitor.
