Celebration of the Anniversary of the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh (Founder of the Bahá’í Faith)

Join us in celebrating the Birthday of Bahá’u’lláh (Founder of the Bahá’í Faith) with music, readings and artistic expressions

The Birmingham Bahá’í community, in conjunction with the Community Engagement Team of Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, warmly invites you to join us to celebrate the Anniversary of the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh (born in 1817).

Each year around November 10th, millions of people around the world hold celebrations to mark this Bahá’í Holy Day. The programme will include readings from the Bahá’í writings and artistic presentations from diverse cultural backgrounds.

The Bahá’í Faith is the youngest of the world’s major independent religions with the principal message of unity. Bahá’u’lláh taught that the religions of the world come from the same Source and are in essence successive chapters of one religion from God. Inspired by the life and teachings of Bahá’u’lláh, Bahá’ís work to improve their own lives and contribute to the betterment of society.

This celebration will be held in the Faith Gallery, which exhibits objects and stories representing faiths in Birmingham including those from the Bahá’í community.

This event is free and everyone is welcome!
