Birmingham's Museums Trust combines an Art Gallery with a Museum, which make its collections wide and various; a feast. Fine and decorative art; Ancient cultures; Social history, are just some of what is available.

In this online lecture, Christine Moosavi will talk about how we got here; where we are now; and where we are going, in relation to the acquisition of these wonderful collections. How did we get from "Dead Game" to Sean Scully? How from Horsfall and Webster to Gillian Warring? Acquisition policy can raise many interesting ideas.

This online lecture will be delivered via Zoom. Once you have signed up to the lecture, a unique invite will be sent for an online Zoom webinar, along with instructions of how to log on.

Pre-booking is essential. Book tickets online - ticket sales end at 12noon on the day of the event.
