Are you interested in archaeology? Do you have some small discoveries that you would like identifying? Then come along to the Portable Antiquities Scheme Finds Identification and Handling Session at BMAG this November.

If you have any items found within the UK, made or shaped by a person, straight from the ground, or even if you’re in doubt, please bring them along for identification. Our BMT archaeologists will be able to identify your finds and may even record them on the national Portable Antiquities Scheme database, which currently holds over 1.3 million items.

This is a drop-in event running between 11am and 3pm and is run by two of the region’s Finds Liaison Officers, Teresa Gilmore and Victoria Allnatt.

Please note, our archaeologists do not offer valuations.

Drop in.
