‘CIVIL’ What is important to you? How can you use your voice? Join us to explore these questions and protest. You will hear about stirring and surprising protests held in different countries and different time periods that had an impact in changing situations, minds and sometimes the world. You may even become part of the protest yourself.

This storytelling activity is inspired by our new exhibition Birmingham Revolutions - Power to the People , which explores Birmingham’s vibrant and varied history of protest and activism, and the role the city has played in some of the most important campaigns and movements in British history.

Aimed at ages 8+, teenagers and adults are most encouraged to come!

Free drop-in. Meet in the Industrial Gallery a few minutes before the start time: 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.

At busy times you may be asked to come back for the next available timeslot.

There will also be a free trail ‘Made in Brum’ available all week from the Information Desks.
