A 250 year old idyllic watermill only four miles from Birmingham city centre.

See it In Action

Unfortunately the waterwheel at Sarehole Mill is currently out of action, as we are unable to operate the machinery due to flood damage at the site earlier in the year. The hot summer weather and lack of rain has also had an effect.

Due to construction work on the Bakehouse Project, the path to the Mill Pond is temporarily closed off to allow construction work to begin.

The tranquil mill pond is a haven for wildlife including herons, mallards and moorhens - and if you are lucky you might spot our resident kingfisher!

Coming Soon

The historic bakehouse at Sarehole Mill is currently undergoing restoration as part of an new and exciting project at Sarehole Mill. The project will see the existing bakehouse restored to its former glory and a new small, but perfectly formed, modern day bakery created in the neighbouring building.
