Nature Explorers encourages children and their grown up to get hands on with nature in the grounds of Sarehole Mill and the wider area.
Join our Learning Officer in exploring the natural world on your doorstep. From pond dipping to tree rubbing each session will involve different activities to help us learn more about the biodiversity all arounds us.
This week we will explore the fascinating world of bats! From eating insects to pollinating plants bats are great for the environment.
Nature Explorers will take place every Wednesday of the Summer Holidays with a different activity each week.
Suitable for children aged 5 – 10.
Activities will vary but we will be outside whatever the weather! Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Some sessions will involve a short walk away from the site.
Sessions are relaxed and informal, neurodivergent children are very welcome. Contact us in advance about any physical access needs and we will do our best to accommodate.
