Destination Space: Exploring the James Webb Telescope

The James Webb Space Telescope will revolutionise our knowledge of the early universe using technology developed right here in the UK.

This workshop will introduce learners to the new James Webb Space Telescope as well as covering the electromagnetic spectrum. Learners will then be tasked with finding the best material to use as a heat shield, putting their knowledge of infrared into practice whilst conducting a fair test.

Costs: £375 for full day or £240 for half day.
