Take part in University of Birmingham’s award-winning interactive eyewitness memory exhibit!

Witnesses of crime often mistakenly identify innocent persons as criminals, leading to the wrongful conviction of innocent people. Join researchers and students from the University of Birmingham to find out more about why these errors occur.

In this exhibit, there is something for all ages to enjoy. We have a range of display boards and interactive demonstrations where you will learn about the different types of lineup identification procedures used by police forces and why we tend to remember certain details of an event more than others. You can also take part in a real psychology experiment.

Come along and test your own memory and find out how good a witness you really are!
