Find out what domestic life was like for the wealthy Smalbroke family in contrast to the servants that ran the house.

Students will have the opportunity to explore one of the oldest houses in Birmingham and discover its key features as a Tudor house. Students will also investigate the historical artefacts and how they might have been used by the rich and poor. Learners will develop speaking and listening skills through question and answer, discussion and exploring a range of evidence.

(School visits to Blakesley Hall are available Wednesday - Friday.)

This session is £6 per child. Duration: 2 hours. Capacity: 30 pupils.
