We have partnered with Convo in the UK to unlock conversations with you using real time British Sign Language (BSL) interpreting services.

What is Convo?

Convo is a free online video interpreting service that connects you to a qualified British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter.  Your Convo interpreter will help you to communicate with our team at the museum, and answer queries you may have on your visit.

Where is it available?

Convo access is available at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery and Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum.

How to use Convo

Use Convo in three easy steps:

1. Scan the QR code at the museum's main entrance, or the QR code that staff are wearing around their necks.
2. Click 'start' and follow the instructions on the screen to connect with an interpreter.
3. Allow permissions to access your camera and microphone.
