About Planetarium Weekend Shows
Step inside our Planetarium and join us for one of our planetarium shows.
We have three different shows running every day at the weekends. The show schedule is shown below.
Planetarium shows cost £3.95 per person per show* (£3 for members), in addition to Thinktank's admission price.
Pre-booking available online as an add-on activity when you purchase your admission tickets.
Weekend planetarium shows
Seasonal Stars: Spring
A show about easy-to-see objects in this season's sky; includes how to find the North Star and how to find some of the seasonal constellations.
This includes the 10min show*: Apollo Journey to the Moon
Join Apollo astronauts Al Worden, Charlie Duke, and Harrison “Jack” Schmitt, as they retrace their historic steps across the lunar surface taken over 50 years ago during Apollo 15, 16, and 17.
Total show length 20min, suitable for all ages.

11am, 12.15pm, 1.45pm, 4pm
We are Aliens
Join scientists in the hunt for real aliens. Discover how robots are cleverly programmed to fly to alien worlds and land on their own. Will we ever encounter intelligent life in our galaxy? Are we perhaps alone in the Universe?
Show length 25min, suitable for all ages

Little Star that Could
Join a little star on an adventure to find planets of his own, meeting uniquely colourful stars along the way.
