The beautiful tearoom offers a range of delicious food and beverages in a unique and historic setting. It’s the perfect spot to meet up with friends or family, whether you’re here for lunch or just coffee and cake.
Our spacious tearoom is open to both museum visitors and passers-by. It’s fully accessible, family-friendly, and breastfeeding is welcome. We offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, along with a children’s menu.
We’re immensely proud to showcase some flavour of Birmingham and to be forging relationships with businesses from across the West Midlands.
Open Tuesday - Sunday, 10am - 5pm, in term-time, and every day during Birmingham school holidays (see our Visit us page for dates).

We buy our sourdough bread from Shokupan, an independent Brummie bakery with quality and character.
For food allergen information please ask a member of staff. Although your meal is prepared with care, due to the handling of allergens in our kitchens, we cannot guarantee it will be allergen free, even after ingredients have been removed on request.

Picnic Area
If you'd like to enjoy your own food or drink, we have a picnic space upstairs above the tearoom. Access is available via stairs only, located in the Made in Birmingham display area. We also have small picnic area in the Wild City gallery.
