Community Corner
CommunitiesShining a light on Birmingham’s stories
Community Corner at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery showcases the people and stories shaping Birmingham today.

Located at the heart of the Made in Birmingham display, Community Corner celebrates the city’s communities by offering groups a visible platform to share what they do with thousands of visitors each week.
The Made in Birmingham gallery explores the people, places, and things that have shaped Birmingham from the 18th century to today, Community Corner adds to this with the voices and experiences of Birmingham’s people today.
The pegboard display has and will continue to feature stories, artwork, photography, textiles, writing, posters, highlighting the work of grassroots community groups, small charities, and local initiatives. Collectively, they create a fuller, more inclusive picture of life in Birmingham by the communities that shape it.
