About Ask Me Anything: Meet the Experts at Thinktank
Have you ever looked at the stars and wondered how far they go?

Or thought: Who actually works behind the scenes in a science museum?
Now’s your chance to find out!
Join us at Thinktank for a special Ask Me Anything / Meet the Experts session, inspired by the spirit of curiosity. This is a relaxed, family-friendly event where no question is too big, too small, or too strange.
Who will you meet?
You’ll have the chance to chat with some of the amazing people who work behind the scenes at Thinktank, including:
- Our Planetarium expert – ask about planets, stars, black holes, and what it’s like to explore the universe.
- The Curator of Natural Sciences – discover how we study animals, fossils, rocks, and the natural world.
- Conservation specialists – learn how museum objects are protected and cared for.
- Technical and curatorial teams – find out how exhibitions are made and how science is brought to life in the museum.
How does it work?
This is an informal drop-in session designed especially for families and young people, but curious minds of all ages are welcome.
You can:
- Ask your own questions
- Listen to what others are curious about
- Discover jobs you might never have heard of before
- There’s no right or wrong question. if you’re curious, we want to hear it!
