Taught On-Site Sessions Across Our Venues

Our on-site taught sessions are a great way to explore our venues. They are fantastic opportunity for your pupils to broaden their knowledge in history, art and science. All visits to any of our venues requires advanced booking, this includes taught sessions and teacher previews.

Taught on-site sessions available at Thinktank, Aston Hall, Blakesley Hall, Sarehole Mill, Soho House and Weoley Castle Ruins.

Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery partially reopens to the public on 28 April, however taught on-site sessions are not currently available. We know that many schools and educational groups are keen to visit us again but our collections’ displays, school offer and facilities remain different during this time, please see the Visiting Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery page for full details. We are still offering Online Sessions on Ancient Civilisation for Key Stage 1 and 2 in Egypt, Greece, and Rome.
