Travel south from the city centre on the Bristol Road (A38), and turn right onto Weoley Park road. Travel to the end of Weoley Park road, turn right at the end onto Castle Road and then left at the roundabout to Alwold Road. The ruins are past the bungalows on your right.

By Rail

Selly Oak Station

The closest train station to Weoley Castle is Selly Oak Station. This is 30 minute walk away. Journey from Birmingham New Street to Selly Oak station on West Midlands Railway service takes only 10 minutes and trains depart every 10-25 minutes.

When leaving Selly Oak station take a left onto Bristol Road (A38). Approximately 1 mile along turn right onto Weoley Park road. Travel to the end of Weoley Park road, turn right at the end onto Castle Road and then left at the roundabout to Alwold Road. The ruins are past the bungalows on your right.
