About Cinema Under the Stars: Dunkirk
Step into our Thinktank Planetarium for a cinema-style screening. Unwind and enjoy a specially selected themed film in a setting designed to inspire curiosity and wonder.
This month's feature: Dunkirk
Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Commonwealth and Empire, and France are surrounded by the German Army and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II.
Enjoy a day full of activities on Spitfire weekend through the museum, celebrating 90 years since the first flight of the legendary Spitfire aeroplane, the aircraft that played a crucial role in Britain’s WWII defence, with roots in Birmingham’s own proud engineering heritage.

Doors open from 7pm to explore the Museum
Film starts at 7.30pm
Pre-booking essential as places are limited.
This film was not made to be projected in a full-dome format, but we will be using our big cinema screen inside the dome.
