About Solar Eclipse at Aston Hall
Discover a rare celestial moment in the stunning grounds of Aston Hall.
Join us in the beautiful surroundings of Aston Hall between 18.00 -20:15 to witness a partial solar eclipse as it unfolds across the UK sky. Watch as the Moon passes in front of the Sun in a striking celestial alignment. an unforgettable sight in a historic setting. Experience the eclipse safely using specialist solar telescopes and sun spotters, giving you a unique and up-close view of this natural phenomenon.
Our resident astronomer will be on hand to explain what causes eclipses, answer your questions, and reveal the science behind what you’re seeing, joined by the Birmingham Astronomical Society , who will bring digital scopes and a PST scope for safe solar viewing. You can also pick up your own pair of eclipse viewing glasses to take part (available while stocks last).

In the event of poor weather, the eclipse will be live-streamed into the Great Hall
