About Thinktank Eggsplorer Trail

Did you know Birmingham Museums Trust holds 10,000 bird eggs, plus eggs from a variety of other animals? This Easter, become an Eggsplorer and uncover the fascinating stories behind them all.

Follow the trail around Thinktank and hunt for eggs from dinosaurs, reptiles, birds, mammals, and insects. Along the way, you’ll discover fun and surprising animal facts while exploring our galleries and natural history collection.

Grab a trail map at the ticket desk, start your eggciting trail, and enjoy an eggstraordinary journey! When you complete the trail, return to the ticket desk to fill out your Eggsplorer certificate and collect a sticker to celebrate.
