The Planetarium will be closed one day a month for maintenance, see the Planetarium page for dates.
The Science Garden will be closed from Monday 8th January until Friday 16th February inclusive. An annual closure period enables us to complete scheduled maintenance during the coldest time of the year reducing the need for closures throughout the Spring, Summer and Autumn months.
Prices do not include entrance to the Planetarium.

The Science Garden is free every day from 3pm, with varying closing times in winter due to light levels. The earliest the garden will close during the winter period is 4pm.
Visit Thinktank for £3 per person after 3pm on weekdays during term-time.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 13-15 are not allowed unaccompanied without parental/guardian consent, please download the consent form.

Planetarium shows are £1.50 per person in addition to the Thinktank admission price. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket desk on arrival.

How to Get Here
Thinktank is situated within Millennium Point, Digbeth, which is just minutes from Birmingham City Centre and The Bullring. The nearest motorways are the M6, M5 and M42.
The closest car park to Thinktank is the Millennium Point multi-storey car park located on Jennens Road which is operated by Birmingham City Council (charges apply). For google maps and Sat Nav use postcode B4 7AP. Blue Badge holders can park for free, there are 20 blue badge bays within the car park and the maximum height restriction for the car park is 2.1 metres.
The Millennium Point building is approximately 20 meters from the multi-story car park and from Level 1 and Level 2 of the multi-story car park there is step free access into Millennium Point. Thinktank’s main entrance is located on Level 2 of Millennium Point.
The nearest train station is Moor Street station (10 minutes walk away). Turn right upon leaving Moor St Station, just before Hotel LaTour, veer right to enter the City Park. Walk through the Park, past the Science Garden and in through the entrance of Millennium Point.
New Street Station (15 minutes walk away). Due to the redevelopment of Birmingham New Street station, changes have been made to the entrance/exit points. From New Street Station follow clear signage to Moor Street Station (approx 5 minutes walk) then follow directions above.
