About Cinema Under The Stars: The Land That Time Forgot
Step into our Thinktank Planetarium for a cinema-style screening of the vintage classic The Land That Time Forgot (1974). Unwind and enjoy a specially selected prehistoric-themed film in a setting designed to inspire curiosity and wonder. You can also explore the museum before the film starts - come face to face with real dinosaurs in our Wild Life and Marine Worlds exhibit on Level 2!
The Land That Time Forgot follows Bowen Tyler and his companions as they navigate a mysterious island filled with prehistoric creatures and face challenges from both nature and hostile forces during World War I.

EVENT INFORMATION
Main Thinktank doors are open from 7pm.
Please enter the museum from Level 0, the Thinktank Main Entrance.
Once you've presented your tickets at the welcome desk, you're free to explore the museum before the film.
Planetarium doors open by 7:25pm.
The Planetarium is located on Level 3.
The film starts at 7.30pm.
There are no trailers and the film will start promptly.
It's difficult for us to admit latecomers, so please aim to arrive with plenty of time to spare!
Pre-booking is essential as places are limited. Seating is unallocated.
This film was not made to be projected in a full-dome format, but we will be using our big cinema screen inside the dome.
