About Draw the Green Future
What could Birmingham look like if we gave more space to nature, to people, and to the future?
This October half-term, Draw The Green Future brings a free drop-in drawing workshop into the heart of the Wild City exhibition. Inspired by the past, present and future themes of the gallery, we invite you to reimagine a place in Birmingham that means something to you as greener, wilder, and more alive.
You don't need to be an artist, just to have a little curiosity about what your city could become. Template drawings of Birmingham locations will be available to adapt, and for more confident artists, a full range of materials will be on hand.
The drawings will be pinned up in Birmingham Museum and uploaded to the Draw The Green Future interactive map, where visions of greener neighbourhoods from all over the UK are already pinned to real streets.
Location : Wild City

About Draw The Green Future
Draw The Green Future is a community campaign using art to illustrate greener and more people-friendly versions of real places. It started with the simple idea that if people can see what their neighbourhoods could become, they are more likely to want to make it happen. The campaign invites people of any age or ability to illustrate greener versions of real streets and places, with every submission pinned to an interactive map at drawthegreenfuture.com. We love to see your visions of
the future!
