Movie Poster Workshop: Inspired by Pop Culture & Birmingham’s Creative Heritage
This school holiday, join us at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery for a fun, creative workshop inspired by film, comics, and video games.
Taking influence from bold, expressive styles and Birmingham’s rich cultural scene — including the Working Class Hero exhibition — families can design and create their very own movie posters. Whether you imagine a rock-inspired story, a superhero adventure, or something completely unique, this is your chance to bring it to life.
You’ll explore different techniques, combining both digital and traditional methods to create eye-catching designs.
Perfect for all ages, this hands-on session is a great way to celebrate storytelling, get creative together, and take home your own original poster.
This event is part of What We Make Here, a six-week series of family-friendly workshops led by Birmingham-based artists, inviting participants of all ages to explore making, materials, and creative expression together.
Location : Industrial Gallery
