Are Unicorns real? Lollihop Puppet Theatre think they can prove it!

Join them on a playful journey of discovery as they explore factual and scientific theories, alongside some wonderfully fantastical hypotheses. Watch as puppets, fossils, and magical potions come to life before your eyes in this family-friendly show designed to make you giggle, gasp and think twice about everything you thought you knew about mythical beasts.

Alongside the show, families can get creative in a drop-in puppet-making workshop. Younger children can colour and decorate their own stick puppet, whilst older children can have a go at folding their own unicorn to take home.

Good to know

For the show, children are invited to sit on the mats at the front with adults seated in the theatre seats. Children are also welcome to sit with their accompanying adults if preferred.
All seats are available on a first-come and first-served basis. During busy periods, you may need to wait for a space to become available.

About the artist

Lori Hopkins

Lori Hopkins is a Birmingham-based professional puppeteer who works across the UK and internationally, specialising in theatre for young audiences. Trained at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Rose Bruford College, and the London School of Puppetry, Lori creates and performs her own shows. Alongside performing, she also works as a Puppetry Director and Education Practitioner.
