Join us for some creative crafts during the school holidays. Led by our museum learning team, each workshop will follow a different activity every week throughout the school holidays.
Week 1 - Clay Sculpting
Week 2 - Felt Flower Bouquets
Week 3 - Fabric Weaving
Week 4 - Tile Decorating
Week 5 - Pattern Printing
Week 6 - Clay Coil Pots
Event Information:
- Workshops will take place each week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
- Sessions run at 10:30am and 1:30pm (with additional 12pm workshop on Wednesdays) and last for approximately 1 hour
- Tickets cost £3.50 per child (Member tickets cost £3)
- Accompanying adult tickets are free
- Under 3s can attend for free, however activity is aimed at older children
- All children must be accompanied by an adult
- Museum entry is free
- Space is accessible via a lift
This event will take place in The Studio, which can be found next to the Pre-Raphaelite Galleries. To reach The Studio from the Main Entrance, walk up the stairs into the Round Room, continuing straight ahead through the Bridge Gallery, which currently holds our Ozzy Osbourne Exhibition. Then, turn right then quickly left past the Toilets, into the Wild City Gallery. Once you walk through the double doors and pass into the Pre-Raphaelite Galleries, The Studio is on the left.
