About Hidden Spaces Picture Store Tours

Step beyond the gallery walls and into the hidden heart of Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. Join our expert guides as you:

  • See an incredible selection of works currently not on display
  • Learn about our 19th and 20th century collections
  • See rarely seen parts of the building

The tour starts in the Round Room, where two Visitor Experience Assistants wearing high-vis vests will meet you and deliver the tour. Please note that the tour will take you through a preselected list of works. The tour will not give access to every painting in Birmingham's collection.

Accessibility: The tour is step free and wheelchair accessible. However, please note this is a standing tour and we are unable to provide seating.
