About Meet the Photographer: Andy Hollingworth in Conversation

Step inside the I Photograph Comedians exhibition for a special talk with photographer Andy Hollingworth, whose career spans nearly 30 years, capturing some of the UK’s funniest performers.

Andy shares funny anecdotes, behind-the-scenes stories, and candid insights from photographing comedians, revealing the realities of fame and the moments that happen off-stage and out of the spotlight.

The talk takes place within the I Photograph Comedians exhibition, giving visitors the unique opportunity to view Andy’s iconic work before and after the discussion, and see how his photographs capture both humour and humanity.

The exhibition features nearly 80 images, including studio portraits, rare contemplative moments off-stage and live stage performances. It also features comedy memorabili,a including a signed pair of Rik Mayall’s underpants and photographs of iconic objects such as Billy Connolly’s banana boots.
