More information about Django Chutney

Django Chutney are a trio from Brighton, Jed Cutler, Ben Mack and Tom Bailey, playing two guitars and a bass fiddle. They treat the Manouche tradition with a relaxed and playful virtuosity as well as taking on board a mixture of styles and material. Their eclectic sound ranges from frantic Manouche swing, mellow three part harmony jazz, virtuosic guitar melodies, violently slapped bass solos, gypsy waltzes, the occasional Black Sabbath cover and much more.
