Celebrate the Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival 2026 with Birmingham Museums Trust
Join us as we celebrate the 42nd year of the Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival with a series of pop-up performances across six of our sites. Experience live music in our iconic spaces and discover jazz in some of Birmingham's most beautiful locations.
Brad Henshaw's performance on the 24th July is now taking place at the fantastic new Craft & Culture venue – and it's completely free to attend.
Join us as we welcome audiences to this exciting new Jewellery Quarter space for an unforgettable evening with one of the UK's finest blues and roots artists. We look forward to seeing you there!
Doors open at 7pm, performance starts at 7:30pm.
BRAD HENSHAW
Brad Henshaw is a Birmingham-born singer-songwriter whose remarkable career has seen him collaborate with some of the most iconic names in music. His extensive résumé includes work alongside legends such as Whitney Houston, Buddy Guy, Blur, Richard Ashcroft, UB40, Rod Stewart, Roy Wood, Michael Bolton, Slade and Shirley Bassey, as well as performances with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
Widely respected within the industry, Henshaw has earned praise from a host of influential artists, reflecting both his versatility and enduring musical impact. Having spent significant time living in America, he has developed a distinctive sound rooted in the timeless spirit of Americana and Southern Rock. Known for his strong, expressive voice, Henshaw performs with clarity and feeling. Blending soulful vocals with confident guitar work, his performances are engaging without being overworked, letting the quality of the songwriting and musicianship speak for itself/
